Salaverria, Andres and Jose Antonio are a family of coffee growers for the sixth generation. The family originally started growing coffee in Ahuachapan district and now owns several plantations and a central processing station around Santa Ana volcano. The Las Cruces central processing station was purchased in 1990. The long-term plantation development program also includes Finca El Martillo, which covers an area of 19.5 hectares, where the Bourbon variety and the San Francisco hybrid variety (a hybrid of Pacas and Bourbon Elite) are grown. . Daily harvests are sorted and subjected to various fermentation and drying techniques. This coffee has been dried with special attention on elevated African beds and thanks to that it is sweet, jam and full of fruit flavors.
